Lancaster is better than that, but I don't plan on living here forever either. Frankly, I want to live back out in the country, where you don't have to deal with petty city governments and your neighbor isn't a stone's throw away. By not having a flat tax, the wealthy, who benefit most from our country's resources, pay more of their fair share. I recently saw an analysis that the actual tax rate for lower and middle class individuals would more than double if we allow the wealthy to exploit the resources of our nation. Jesus teaches us to be concerned with others and to lay our treasures in heaven. I'm thankful that we live in a nation that, up til now, has been concerned about "the least of these."
